Ed Blalock serves as chief executive of Sunrise Homes of Northwest Arkansas and is the company’s majority shareholder. As CEO, Ed oversees home design, pre-construction site strategies, land acquisition, and handles the top-level orchestration of each subdivision’s build process. He enjoys live music, skydiving, and travel; however, you’ll usually find him in his office working on a new home-building project.
Prior to becoming a home builder, Ed practiced law in the state of Nevada. He received his law degree from the University of San Diego in 1988 and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting that he received from the University of San Diego in 1985. A native of California, Ed relocated to Arkansas to pursue his passion for building homes..

Colton started his career in the housing industry as a marketer for a real estate team, but he quickly realized he could do more to help his community. He began his path as a mortgage lender in 2021. He enjoys creating value for his clients, making the homebuying process as streamlined as possible. He emphasizes communication and makes sure to check in often so his borrowers are always up-to-date on the progress of their loan.
When he’s not working, Colton enjoys golfing. Any time he has a free moment, you can usually find him on the golf course.
